No one posts about the Marazzo anymore but since you did and I drive one too, asking a related question.

What is the true FE you are getting? When my MID shows 15kmpl, it's actually 12-12.5kmpl based on tank full to tank full method.

The maths on Marazzo is generally off the charts. Like reserve lights up in my car with DTE at 180kms atleast.

Is elevation playing a role?

I usually fill when my fuel indicator shows no bars at all. I fill the diesel up to brim. It takes about 46–47 litres of diesel. I drove between 650 and 700 km for this much diesel. This is for my home office, home drives, and local trips. In Kerala, almost all of these drives are city drives.
Ie, 13 to 14 kmpl by tank to tank method. But MID will display as 15 or 16 kmpl.
Early morning long-distance drives give excellent mileage. Last time, I drove to Thrissur early in the morning, which was around a 100-kilometre trip. For this MID, it showed 20 kmpl. MID never shows values above 20.

Yes, after the low fuel indicator lights up,the DTE shows around 180 to 200 km. I usually drive 150 km after a low fuel warning.
