Yes, they have to service a few cars in a day so they can focus to free the customer early. But no they were more relaxed and chilling out.

The CLA 200 was bought in 2016 and been rock solid reliability wise for the last 60,000km.

Got the same errors on the dash on her way back. With the steering/brakes losing assist, it felt a bit agricultural but surprisingly never felt difficult to manoeuvre. No shutting down on the side of the road either.

Straight to the Dealer (Sundaram Bangalore) and diagnosed with faulty speed sensors.

Dealer covered it under Goodwill. I only paid for the labour.
I am glad to hear this. My dealer never gave me any goodwill warranty and because my warranty was over I always pay for the new part, this thought never came to my mind. Next time I will ask the dealer for a goodwill warranty. My car is also very reliable, it requires just regular scheduled service.

We have had this very same issue every year without fail.
One of the abs sensor fails, showing the same symptoms. And it was replaced for free which was under warranty. The sensor itself has 1 year warranty. The customer service might vary from dealerships.
It has affected not just CLA models, even A class, B class, & GLA class all over the world.

The last time it was occurred to us was in May 2022 in Pune. And all 4 sensors were replaced free of cost. Also they even mentioned it’s a *modified sensor* which will not fail again. Mercedes will not uncover their faulty ABS sensor to their customers.

Do find yourself a trusty FNG who focuses on European made cars, do not hesitate to visit.
Hello, I guess the Warranty is for 5 years then how do they replace all your sensors when your car is 7 years old?
Yes this is a common issue in A class, Gla, cla, and b class. This issue is not common in c class and above.
As a rule in my house, it is decided that all my cars will go to the ASS.

ABS and TC work only with input from wheel speed. If the wheel speed sensor fails, the only way to have ABS & TC functional is by changing the wheel speed sensor.

To my surprise the cost of replacement is marginally higher than that of a Polo, in the past two years I replaced all four of them costing about INR 4400 a piece, VW however gives a 2 year warranty on the part, hope Mercedes did inform you about the same.

Regards.
