Checked with my SA at Hyundai (know him very well). He mentioned that correcting this is to change the strut (which is not expensive).
Can any of you guys give me some advice on this - do I need to do anything for now? Car is running perfectly, steering centred perfectly and no issues in driving. |
The rear wheel camber depends on the rear spring. Changing the front strut is not going to help the rear camber. If the rear spring is broken on one side when the camber can go out of spec. However, the chances of coil spring breaking are almost nil more so if yours is a new car.
Even my i20 has rear camber misalignment but total value is within limits. I have not faced any issues with abnormal tyre wear till now. I suggest you do not worry about it as long as you are not seeing uneven rear tyre wear.
