Achates Power - Opposed piston diesel engines are crazy efficient

Came across this & sharing. If the 9 manufacturers are putting this efficient engines to reality, yeah, we're having a super duper Diesel 2 stroke engine that's extremely efficient.

Nothing new about opposed piston two stroke diesels, but high efficiency + very low NOx emissions stands conventional theory on its head.
Will have to wait for independent test reports.
