ECU remap is available for Fortuner :thumbs up. Wolf Moto, TOT, Quantum etc should be good.

Remap is available. Do not expect huge gains. Driveability and throttle response should be better :thumbs up.
Hey Doc, has anyone managed to crack the Kia Diesel ECU? Have a Diesel auto Seltos and seems like tuners are yet to crack the ECU. Is that the case or has there been progress since the time of booking last year :)

I believe the ECU is not cracked by any tool manufacturer yet. Remap is not available for any car with new 1.5 CRDI diesel engine.

You can check with GT Tunerz Delhi or else wait for Wolf Moto team to visit Delhi.
Hi everyone, Any ideas as to what are the remap options / max gains currently available for 1.2 VVT baleno and 1.5 i-vtec city. I live in Bhubaneswar and since there aren't any tuners locally does anyone know if vizag city has them ? (it's about 400 kms away so a short trip can be made)
Hi All, I am looking for a remap for my Jeep Compass 2.0 diesel. Its about 3 years old and has 24k on the odo. Any recommendations on tuners in Chennai who can help with this? This is my 1st ever remap attempt and would appreciate some guidance on what to do and what not to do

Unsure about Chennai but if you're planning a drive to Bangalore anytime soon, I'd suggest wolf. I recently got my baleno K12 remapped from them and the car has been performing pretty nice. Wolf regularly does visits to Chennai aswell so maybe you could reach out to them and see if they have a slot coming soon.
They were my first remap experience but what I liked was they're pretty open to explain to you everything that they're doing and get down to technical details too if you want them to.

Nice. I too have Wolf tuned Baleno 1.2. Did you get any hardware mods done too ?

Unfortunately no. I wanted to get a stage 2 with a decat but I was in bangalore for a short while and we couldn't really sync up a full 2 days for the mods.
Currently I just got a stage 1+ remap. Have plans to eventually get the decat + intake change whenever I get the chance (maybe after taking a drive on vigneshwar's swift stage 2.
Also, are you seeing FE improvement ? I used to get about 15-16 in bangalore earlier now I'm getting 17.5 and up, even 19 on my moderate traffic laiden drive to yeshwantpur and back ( from whitefield )
P.S
I also have a 1.5 i-vtec that I can't wait to get remapped by wolf. Wonder how it'll transform that car.

Minor improvement, Yes. Not sure if it due to remap or XP 95 or both :D
I just got my (61k kms)2013 ecosport tdci stage 1 remapped from quantum tuning in Hyd.
Stock figures are:
88 bhp and 204 nm
According to quantum my stock figures are:
88 bhp and 220 nm which was remapped to 115 bhp and 250 nm.
Figures aside, i felt no significant improvement in my car. It idles and sounds smoother and i can hear the injectors work while accelerating. Here comes the main part, the RPMs are jerky from 1500 to 1800 rpm on light throttle (while in gear and neutral) which makes the entire car shake. It's non existent if I'm accelerating through that rev range. (Almost feels like a misfire)
The dealer asked me to drive 50 kms or so for the map to fully kick in. I've driven almost 200 kms but the issuer still remains. This definitely is not normal, should I be expecting this issue to resolve itself?
An increase of almost 25 bhp and 40 nm of torque would easily be felt on the highway, but that's not the case. Driveability has become better by 10-15% and that's it. Would any 1.5 tdci remapped folks please comment on how the character of the engine changed?
