Hi,

If you are getting normal fuel without additives then you should use system G, specifically if your car is EURO III. If you are using premium fuel like speed power etc then no need of system G. Though keep a bottle of system G for highway use coz sometimes you wont get the premium fuel on highways.

Hope this helps.

I always use System G + unleaded. I trust that much more than Speed or Power.

I regularly use Iftex System G which is available at most Bharat Petroleum outlets...

I use this with regular unleaded fuel and my car feels smooth and responsive...

Alternatively you could also try Sonex which i liked the best although I am yet to try out Bardahl...

I have used System G with Premium, premium, as well as normal unleaded in my Wagon-R. Here are my observations.
System G+Premium = No difference.
System G+Speed = engine felt coarse and slight knocking.

After this I fiilled normal unleaded for one month and I felt the car running smoother.

Later I tried again System G with Speed and the car again felt a little bit coarse.

Immediately I filled System G with normal unleaded and I could recognize the smoothness of the car immediately.

It is my observation that, System G with premium fuels doest go well. System G with unleaded is very good.

I agree with Ravi. I have used SYS G with Speed and normal unleaded fuel. Experience with SYS G + normal unleaded has been better for me.

Gm and Ford advise use of system G along with 91 Octane fuel aka premium fuel only is written on the rear glass.

I thought it was system g + normal fuel. the 87 oct.

Been using system g + oct 87 for initial 20k km. For past 11kkms it is shell super. No diff in FE, power or smoothness.

If you are using Shell fuel, then there is no need for any fuel additive... unless your engine is running heavy mod's and needs an octane booster.

Shell fuels are very good in quality and using any additive like Iftex or Sonax etc can just be a waste of money.

Use the additives when you are filling in regular fuel, and especially when you fill up on highways as it can be adulterated.

As in my earlier post i fill up regular fuel from IOC with Iftex SystemG or plain regular fuel from Shell without adding any additive.

Yes, I never used any additives or system g with shell super. System g only went with bpcl regular.

I have noticed on my baleno, low-speed crawling on 2nd with a/c, car starts jerking slightly, forcing me to rev up. I use Power one tank after every two tanks of plain unleaded. SHould I be using System G+unleaded?
