Dear Sashi Ji

I have just bought a Manual Grand Vitara 2.0 L - Dec 2007 Model.

Immediately I need a Self (Starter Motor) Bendix. Motor is fine but the bendix was slipping.

In the next month I need the following
1. Clutch Set
2. Power Steering Overhaul Kit if it is available, else we will think of complete Rack.
3. Under body Protection Covers (Specially the one under the engine)
4. Front Bumper
5. Main Fan Belt

Could you help me with these. Also in the other thread you mentioned LMC automotive of Kashmere Gate(MGP store), and Santosh there. Would you have the number of that place or Santosh.

Yes this is exactly what we want. Now the tricky part is to find it. Is there a way to check for the availability by part no or something. This is my first Maruti / Suzuki Vehicle and I don't have an exact idea on how the supply chain of the parts works.

The main hurdle in getting the desired part is knowing the accurate part number which you need. I'll help in getting all that info.

Next you should reach out your nearest MGP store, quote them the part number and ask them to place an order against an advance. They have an online DMS which tells them many info about the part like
-Child parts/Alternate parts
-Whether the part is serviceable or not
-Price
-Availability at other locations/Live stock

They accept your order, and then the wait begins. Since you are located in Delhi, it'll take them around 3-4 days to get you the part if its available at MSIL's warehouse. If not, it'll be imported from Japan(being SGP), and that takes around 20-30 days.

Car - Baleno 2004 Model

The glass (Plastic/acrylic) on the speedometer assembly (under the steering wheel). Does that come as a separate part or is it as a whole speedo meter dash board assembly.

The glass on my car has faded and I cannot see the dials (speedo/fuel/guages) very clearly.

Can you please help to see if that comes as a separate orderable part.

The part is probably discontinued now. They had it listed in the past for sure, but now the part is probably not in supply.

Still, you may try placing an order. They can deliver if they have it lying at some location. The part number was 34112-60G00. Approximate price should be Rs. 2100.

Checked with the local distributors and they seem to have no stock and also says not orderable. They had an alternate "M" part number available on order, but that comes as a whole speedo assembly.

Went ahead and ordered from that supplier that you found. Estimated delivery- May-15 though. Will wait it out.

Your post isn't clear, Sir. Firstly, which year LXi is it?? Secondly, if your head is damaged, why are you looking for half engine?? Head isn't included in Half engine kit. Its basically block+piston, con rods etc.
