Does this mean that for VW and Skoda cars like Vento and Polo (manufactured in India) , this device would not work?

No no, VW group comes under European category here you'll get them in that tab.

Thanks Anurag for taking the time to look for what the information I requested. Someone would have to reverse engineer the proprietary codes used to request the ATF temperature. What I saw at the MASS was a Denso unit that was able to show the temperature.

In my feedback to Maruti about the Maruti App, I requested them to integrate OBDII readings, but got no reply. I don't know who has the know-how to capture all the proprietary information on these consumer level devices. I think it will be easier to stick an oil temperature sensor into the ATF fluid level dipstick.

Oh. Which version did you check for? It shouldn't be so high.

Another friend of mine has just picked up from Ali Express for $ 48. Try there once and see.

Hello Anurag,
Just saw a pdf file on the manufacturer's website. It says products manufactured from China are not the original ones. Also, the device which your friend might have purchased would be the EasyDiag and NOT the EasyDiag PLUS; again not sure about this as these are two different products as listed on their website and moreover, Easydiag shows $48 on aliexpress!
Thanks.

Celerio Petrol / Petrol AMT seems to be missing from the list.

Yes, expecting them in the software updates in the future.

Ertiga, Celerio, Alto K10, Ciaz hopefully would be added.

Not meaning to spoil the party but doesn't the back of the package mention 'MADE IN CHINA'? I guess the ones found on sites like aliexpress are just clones of the one by Launchtech which is also manufactured in China.

Yes it is Made in China. But what isn't!

I trusted and went ahead with the purchase because of the serial number and password that is sent along with the package.

AFAIK, a clone won't get the code right.

Good find Anurag.

There is a USB port on the dongle (post# 2; image# 5) - what's that meant for.

If I change my phone will my purchase of manufacturer option retained?

The USB port is for the manufacturer to flash the firmware. Not of use to us.

Since you do the selection of manufacturers software only one your logged in, it will remember and only ask you download the package for the new mobile.

CAUTION: All scanned data or saved data like scan reports or recordings would NOT be linked to the account rather be stored in the mobile SD Card.

Hello Anurag,
How do we connect the Easydiag device with the ECU? I know that's through Bluetooth (and a cellphone) but how is the wireless connection established? From where does the device gets its power to trigger the signals? Essentially, there are 3 objects in connection; ECU-Easydiag-Cellphone. But I'm not able to establish the connection link through Bluetooth
Thanks.
