If I am right, he mentioned Ractive (sold by PJSpeed). But I don't think they have stock replacement filters - I think they have conical type, which needs some work to fit.

Green Cotton filters have stock replacements for many cars. The product is distributed in India by Pete's.

Thanks for the tip, moralfibre. I had emailed Petes yesterday and they came back with the price (3600 for Baleno) and literature.

Interestingly, they say that Green filters are proven to give a hp increase vis-a-vis paper filters which is backed by dynamometer tests. For a 1800cc, 4-cyl engine, there was 6.7% increase in hp over paper filter. Not that I am looking for performance increase. But if it comes as part of the package, why not ? Have attached the literature they sent me.

rjstyle69, will suggest you get rid if the resonator box sine you are not using it anyway and put it a partition seperating the filter and engine. even a plain plastic deflector work in running car although a fiberglass heat shield work will be best.

A Green performance filter is doing its duty in an Audi TT owned by a bhpian from Pune. He is highly impressed with it!

Isnt this bertie's car from clubaleno ?? As far as I can see it there is no air filter .. The piping is directly connected from the vent to the throttlebody .. However I could be wrong as the pic doesn't reveal everything .. Also do note that condition in those places might not be dusty however trying the same in India could prove fatal to the engine ..

That powerbulge on the hood is useless. Coincidentally he has put it right on top of the intake plenum and TB. And I don't see a filter. Nice colour scheme though.

Yes you can. It will have some effect. Also, you could try a big one on the Scorpio, which will also be of some use.
