If you are planning to go for Amaron, please visit Amaron's authorised seller batterywale.com. They have better rates then batterybhai!
I wished Amaron's were red to match up with my cars colour just like the OEM Exide :D

This may answer all your queries and save you some time :)

So finally (but prematurely) my OEM battery (SF Sonic) gave up. During the last service I had asked the SA to monitor battery voltage pre and post charging. He subsequently informed me that 6 cells have gone kaput and battery needed a replacement.
To cross verify if he wasn't pushing a new battery, had it checked at the friendly neighborhood garage. The mechanic (known to me from my previous car days) confirmed the worst
Thus ended up getting Amaron Pro with 30+30 warranty. Paid Rs 3600 in lieu of my old battery. Surprisingly the authorized dealer was much cheaper than batterybhai or batterywala. And I got a Mar 14 stock.
Can anyone tell me the prices for a Swift Diesel battery (65 AH) in Delhi? A dealer is asking for 4500/- for a 36 month warranty battery.
Battery Charger :
Little OT - can anyone recommend Good Battery Charger ? I am unable to find any good branded one - online as well at local shops in Chandigarh .
The original battery exide freedom on my verna crdi has lasted for 7.5 years. Recently the car is taking time to start. Hyundai A.S.S has checked the battery and confirmed that few cells are dead. Since exide lasted this long, I'm thinking of sticking to the same brand. Which is the best exide model available for old verna crdi?

Yes, that's the exchange price. Brand is AC Delco. Should I go for it?
Exide dealer has quoted 6.6k with old battery for exide matrix 75D23L battery. Good price?
@fighterace
AC Delco is a subsidiary of GM. I believe it is the OEM for all Chevrolet cars battery in India.
Personally, I have always used Exide & Amaron.
I have used AC Delco in the past and currently too my Mitsubishi runs on AC Delco, it is a good product.

try the Exide Matrix. i got my Exide Freedom changed (after 7.5yrs) and upgraded to Exide Matrix. no issues :thumbs up
once i left them park lights on all day at office and the battery was dead by the time i returned to the car at night. had to call the ASC folks to jump start the car. on the drive back home the battery charged and next day didn't have any issues starting either clap:
My Swift Petrol(running on CNG now) is 7 years old now. The OEM Amaron lasted for exactly 3.5 years & I replaced it with an Exide which is giving problems now - after exactly 3.5 years. So looks like there isn't much diff between the two for me. How much does the typical Swift battery last for you guys? I am thinking of going for the cheapest Exide with the minimum warranty.
