Hey guys (especially finetuning), Don't end up screwing up your engine... It's one thing to do performance mods like NOS and quite another to add additives to fuel. To put the record straight, adding acetone does boost performance, but so will taking antibiotics for your infectious fever. But which one in what dosage and with what combinations and manner of administration is the job of a professional! Don't let the performance highs with "a very small quantity of acetone" end up like cocaine addiction. It can potentially ruin your engine.

Incidentally, have you given thought to what the "performance boosting additives" in Speed, Power and Xtra Premium could be?

thats why using it on my old kiney not on my new fiesta 1.6 so if the old horse has to die fast let it die or the other way around if adding acetone acts like viagra great

my findings!

hey guys ! ive read alot about it and have been trying to get as much inofrmation on it as possible!! and the following are my findings :

1)acetone being completely soluble in petrol should not harm your engine at such low concentrations!!
2)FE gain is great!
3)performance not really changed!
4)engine parts soaked in 100% acetone for months showed just minor swelling !!

but my doubts lie where high temperatures come into play!!
i mean all tests have been done at room temperature but what about the high temperatures achieved in the engine ??

i want to be completely sure before i try it on my baby!!

Yes....but remember to add only 1.5 ml per liter of diesel.....anything more will kill the ratio .....after adding such amount....do check ur power response.....ur exhaust...u will not see black smoke from ur diesel exhaust....thats wonderful apart from giving 10% boost in mileage.....

Enjoy....

Kindly just go through the links...especially written by Louis LaPointe......its being proved technically.......there is no harm using anything that will better vapurise the fuel.WHY to pay more for additives whose formula u dont know?....also adding it in petrol tank is as easy as filling bottle....just prepare mixture in small bottle then add with funnel having pipe....just like we see at petrol pump.......just add it......

its really amazing such a wonderful additive is ignored. No harm....just try & see.......regarding FE....I had used in my scooty pep & found good increase n power...smoothness in engine & at least 15% boost in mileage. This is my experience....why not just try it?

Enjoy.........

I advise members to try in their bike & check power delivery...exhaust sound....smoke....& last FE.......its easy to feel in bikes....also do read all the links about acetone then try it then comment.

If it works in bikes/scooters then why not in cars..buses...trucks.....?...just try in small amount in car & check everything. If ur FE doesnt increase for any reason.....even though u will get increased power delivery with smoothness of engine & very much reduced exhaust....unburnt fuel is past thing with acetone hence ur exhaust is very very clean.....

If anything that gives such benefit ..must be implemented...

Enjoy....

OK finetuning... Thanks! Read LaPointe's long article. Decided that I'll give my 6-year old Zen a try with this formula, and keep my findings posted here...

guys before you try this on your zx12rs and other engines please read this page http://www.carbibles.com/fuel_engine_bible.html also make sure you read about detonation and fuel addictives like octane and mileage boosters.

wass that all about preparing a mixture....i thot it was as simple as measuring it and putting it straight to the petrol tank.
