Guys,

I have bought a 24 hr pass to erwin.volkswagen.de and am downloading manuals/training material left and right on the Vento.

However, its not easy as the Vento is not a worldwide model, so any assistance or tips on what to download would be great.

Also, any requests for any information (even VIN info held by VW) - please PM me. My time runs out in about 21 and a half hours. Its 7:00 PM now.

P.S. All this came about when I was trying to find out which honeycomb mesh grill can be installed on my '11 Vento TL TDI

Can also pull/view workshop and service information apparently, but not sure how to work those screens yet.

Also, getting my Vento delivery in the next three days, so would be great if you could you possibly put up the Vento (& Polo) workshop manuals here as well.

Might I also ask how you managed to get the 24hr pass

I think it costs you some Euros. I think it is 20 Euros for a 24 hour pass, not sure. Currently the site seems to be down. You can purchase access on the site after creating a login and making the payment upfront.

I think I paid 8 euros or so for a one or two hour pass. You can browse free for as long as you want and decide what all you want to get and download during that one hour

Ensure that you download Vento 2011 repair manuals. You dont have to worry about the worldwide variants. VW gives the varying information in the manual so the same manual will contain all the info.
