agree with that -
  1. use a mild solution of shampoo in water.
  2. dip a clean cloth in the solution
  3. squeeze cloth to remove solution partly
  4. spread cloth out on upholstery and clean - rub hard
  5. Once you've done this on approx 2.5 sq ft(say 1.5ft*1.5ft),remove cloth and rinse thoroughly in solution
  6. repeat steps 3-5
  7. Make a fresh batch of solution in case you find the solution has become dirty dark.
CAUTION:Your hands will begin to ache after say 5 sq.ft - do the roof in two instalments on two days - that would be better

Vanish?? Varnish is a transparent, hard, protective finish or film primarily used in wood finishing.

Me thinks thats a typo ... maybe you meant vinegar....

I dont think Vanish is a typo. vanish is a detergent. When it dissolves is water, oxygen is released and helps in cleaning.

Take half bucket warm water and put some detergent, ariel or whatever you have in house. Mix it well till form make it full bucket. Use Sponge dip it and squeeze it to remove all water then rub this on the roof. It will clear the room as desired.

Gave my Swift a quick rub with 3M liquid wax yesterday. It is very easy to put on and rub off. The final result is a sort of 'wet-look'. A very underrated product indeed. Will post some pics soon.
Of course, there is no point in comparing this product to the more expensive imported waxes, but at 80 Rs for a 100 ml bottle, who's complaining?
BTW, don't forget to shake the bottle (vigorously) before applying.

Let the pics do the talking. First few pics show difference in shining of the area which is waxed v/s the area which is not waxed yet.

After waxing with 3M premium liquid wax.

Not quite the same as Turtle wax hardshell, but has exceeded my expectations.

Decent beading. Lets see how long it lasts.

Dunno. But don't worry about it. When I go to that part of the city, I'll check out & if available will get one & PM you for address.
I doubt about availability as when I picked that was the only bottle available there (wanted to buy 2 ).
