Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

I have the following detailing products that I can give to any interested person.

1. Meguiars Ultimate Polish (about half bottle)
2. Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax (about half bottle)
3. Washdrops Waterless wash

I recently got my car cQuartz coated from Ultimate Detailerz and these products are not needed anymore hence giving them away (I picked up Ultima Waterless Wash for all my detailing needs from them.)

Interested person can PM me. You'll have to come and pick them up (so this invitation is limited to Bangaloreans only.)

joslicx you can also post on the following T-Bhp Giveaway thread as well. After a lot searching and buying new products I too have now collected a lot of DiY products which I don't use as well which I think would be better to give away to fellow bhpians.

Link.

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

So finally managed to take a few pictures of the engine bay after 2 days.

So it went from this

Also, visited greenzcarcare.com yesterday to get some carpro products. Managed to checkout their new stock of Gtechniq items. Mr. Hari seemed to have coated his car with c1 and exo v2 coating. Got a chance to see the wonderful beading properties of exo and managed to make a video as well. Here is a link to the video.

BTW, just had one more query regarding UPGP. Can we wash the microfiber applicator? Mine got dirty today when it fell on the floor.

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Had taken a day off from work to take care of some personal stuff. Luckily all that got done way before time!. And, considering it wasn't hot outside, I decided to spend some time pampering the car.

Removed all dust from the hood using the trusty Jopasu duster. Examined the surface for bonded contamination.
Found the surface smooth enough, but sprayed Meguiars Quick Detailer on it to make it smoother.
Next, proceeded to application of Meguiar's Ultimate Polish. Rubbed it in nicely, followed by a layer of Insta Finish Micro Cut.
Waited for 15 minutes for the glaze to harden, then buffed it off using a microfiber. Topped it up with Meguiars Quick Wax.

End result? I think it looks fairly good for the hood of a 9 year old silver colored car What do you think?

My pleasure! Always feel good about interacting with like minded people! BTW I'm no expert, I'm still learning

Anyways took some pics form DSLR. Sorry about the out of focus shots, camera got confused while focussing:

These pics were after Jewelling stage, before Gtechniq C1 coat:

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

So applied Gtechniq exo v2 to my roof sometime back and discovered something amazing.

Exo is such a water repellant, that the cloth with which I applied it, on dipping it in water, the portion with exo in it repelled water so much that it stayed bone dry. Check it out for yourself. Amazed with this coating.

Will test the coating on the roof next

Abro products are just average . you can buy much better products

Besides tradeus is notorious for bad customer experience.

Thanks for the quick reply mate. I dropped the idea of getting it. The only thing I was interested is Washing Solution and Sponge.
