Thanks!

Pressure washed them with the 'pesticide sprayer' with a strong car shampoo that I had (it took off loads of dust and grime! like Loads!!!) > Then pressure rinsed with water. > Let it dry(I cant wipe it dry because of the anti-rust(rubbery)coating there)

Finally dressed in a silicone based dressing. Nice n shiny!

I really wanted to remove each wheel and be more thorough with the wheel, wheel well, shock absorbers behind the wheels, etc. but unfortunately didn't have the time!

Yes. In a test spot on the swift. Very good results. But not outstanding. Not the fault of the equipment. I need a stronger polish for the swift. May be M105. The weather has not been kind on the weekends. I will have a go at the Merc this weekend if the weather permits.

Just got my formula 1 wax sent through ebay.in

The tin seems to be slightly dented and stuff on a couple of sides on the bottom in spite of all the courier packing. There is no flag on the bottom of the can.
Have attached a few snaps of the can and the wax inside. Can anyone tell me if this stuff is real or not? And what happens if you use the fake stuff on a car? Will it damage the paint, or just not be effective?

If its original then good, if its fake, then I guess the cost of learning not to buy through ebay is Rs. 220

^ Its pretty obvious its fake , it doesn't even say Formula 1 on it , only F1 You should have paid the 100 bucks more and got the original

Here's how the original tin looks like http://www.formula1wax.com/products/...baPasteWax.php

They haven't even written 'Formula1' + no info online about this product.

Can you give a link from where you ordered?

@bottle - what was the shop on gp road that you mentioned, and where does it come exactly on gp road?
And yes I just noticed that it doesnt even say formula 1 completely on it. But by the look of the can it seemed a miserable fake immediately.

Heres the link. Beware of this seller.

I got it from Rahaman store its on the right side of GP road. You can get it anywhere I guess just make sure it matches with the picture from the website. Most fakes add some variation

edit - try and get that fake returned

And pay courier charges? No way man. Its just some 200 bucks loss. Thats why I went ahead and bought the silly thing the other day.

@notorious - where does it say f1? It seems to say formula 1 everywhere, which is why I took the risk and ordered it.

It is very clear that you have been cheated by the seller and the tin is half empty. As fellow members pointed out to you, it doesn't even states Formula one and the image in the listing is of Formula 1 can. Just leave a negative feedback score to the seller. Nothing more can be done as of now. Do obtain advice from the members before purchasing any car care product.
PS: today i inquired about the Formula 1 products here and the seller told that market is stuffed with the local fake products and thats why he's not placing the fresh order. Good that he's not a part of fake product promotion.
