Gill we're eagerly awaiting your update on the email. Though Gurgaon isn't faroff, summer and traffic aren't too merciful.

@Garipagol, nice color, I love benz in this color, looks good without a doubt.

Still awaiting reply from Meguiars disti.
@sohail regarding the DA, Meguiars in US has G110v.2, for it one would need a 1kw 220v to 100v stepdown at 50hz.20north quotes 11.5k for g110.v2 and add around 2k for stepdown, total would be around 13.5k and that too without warranty.
In Uk G220 is available, which is a plug n play in India, they are yet to release the version 2 in UK. G220 cost around 120pounds.Again no warranty.
Meguiars guys said, even if they get a DA, warranty won't be provided by them,as it's not officailly available.
GEX150AC for 8k seems a good option along with 6 months warranty.IF bosch can get gex150 turbo then it can be even better.
Still undecided when it comes to DA polisher.

Compared to you I am a novice !!

I do the rubdown once a month both outside and inside. Takes me about six hours to do the outside. I do it by hand. Normally I do it alone because a) it helps me to think and b) gives my shoulders a good workout (frozen shoulder problem) and c) I love the result !!

What I am using

SONAX for wash and wax polish.
Ice spray detailer from Turtlewax the next day to finish off
Armorall extreme shine for the tires, shampoo & Sonax for the wheels
Mr. Leather for the upholstery (leather)
SONAX cockpit cleaner for the dashboard
Cobra Microfiber. (I saw your posts on MF you are doing good).

I will recommend SONAX if you have not tried it. German product line. Available in India. Reasonably priced. Mercedes sponsored.

What I am getting my hands on

Klasse All-in-One
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
Wolfgang clay kit

Again highly recommended in Merc Forums. Not available in India. Not cheap !!!

How do you survive the humid Kolkata climate? Pune is not so humid but, it fries my skin, already touching 40 degrees :(

Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0

Hello All,

I tried Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax.

All I can say is that I am just blown away by the results. The sheen , gloss and hydro phobic nature.

I would strongly recommend the product to the folks on the forum.

Cheers

Sateesh

Can you please post some pics of the before & after ?

Where did you get the Megs wax from ? I contacted the authorized distributor, Swetadri Associates, but they don't have it in stock and im still waiting for their revert :(

i am the "unofficial supplier" of megs products for folks here
I think i should turn into a regular soon!! Am trying to see if an importer friend of mine who keeps getting his shipments from all over North America and Europe can add some megs stuff each time he travels. I am expecting some microfibers and NXT from Megs in 1-2 months
Folks keep checking the classifieds for extra stuff that i am posting, cannot post here as mods ask me to put on the classifieds only.
