I gave this another thought and feel Pune - Mulshi - Amby Valley - Pune will be a very long drive. Let us drive to Mulshi and back. I am ok with Lavasa too but I am pretty sure they won't let us in if we are in big numbers.

I second that , it would really be a very long drive and would be inconvinient for people who are looking out for it as a half day kinda event .

Lavasa , Couldn't agree more , would for sure create problems with such a big gang entering their premises . We would need to split up and enter and recollect to see if that really works out .

Guys..If we are planning Mulshi..then it is better we goto Tamhini Ghat side..better scenery..
I have been to Lavasa only once so no idea on the crowd issue..but is there anyway we can let them know in advance...
Coz if it is Lavasa..i would prefer bringing my Apache RTR as going on Lavhe ghat will be fun on that bike..if it is Mulshi then i will stick to thunderbird coz roads are not good there (Atleast for bikes)

Looking at the possible constraint of our caravan getting entry into Lavasa i am not sure if that is still an option. Unless we decide to have buffet lunch at the restaurant in Lavasa (i think it is called Ekant) and make a booking and get ourselves in. I think it costs around Rs.350-400. But not sure if it is worth it. Is it possible for anyone to find out from any sources if getting in to Lavasa would be a problem?

Also what are the options for lunch for both the routes? Any ideas guys?
