There is one dhaba after Narsapur lake!!!

Directions:
Go further down the road towards Medak into Narsapur, you will come to a cross-roads junction. Take left here, you will find a Dhaba or two on the right hand side, I think its around a furlong or so from the junction. I think its name is Saajan Dhaba!!!

NOTE: There is a Iyengar bakery in Narsapur on the right side while going towards the above mentioned junction. Their plump cake was good!!!

PS: Avi, carry your 70-300 lens(if you want to click birds!!), at Narsapur lake and in the Narsapur forest you might find some good birds. Here is the link to the pics clicked by ismail(HPC) at Narsapur:
Narsapur Forest - 2009 - a set on Flickr

EDIT:
If any one of you are interested in Architecture of ancient India, can try this temple:
http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=17.724...8&z=18&l=0&m=b
This temple comes a couple of KM before the Narsapur lake. A friend of mine said that the architeture reminded him of a type of Dravidian Architecture which is not seen normally. BTW, the temple is Octagonal in shape!!

@Amit, thanks for that quick post of those pictures !

@Raj, can't we book you as our tour operator? You seem to know a lot about that location.

Btw, Ismail is on my buddy list on Flickr so have seen his pictures from his trip to Narsapur forest

What happened to the regulars? Hope Suren is back by then and joining as we postponed this drive meet on his request.

Nazim, you joining?

Brajesh bhai, you havent visited this thread in ages. Your confirmed? Good way to offroad in your new beast.

I would love to, but I am working this Sunday. But there is a remote possibility(1%) of me joining the meet!! Sundays and Mondays we dont have power in the office, we have a generator which takes care of us but a colleague of mine was mentioning this Sunday the generator might be having a service session, so it will be not working!!! I may join only in that case!!!

Talk about labour laws in India. We are forced to depend on a generator not working in order to avoid work on a Sunday!.

Dude, if you were serious about working , then tell them you shall work even though there is no generator and that would be under the shady confines of a forest tree!Dont work to impress the boss, lol.

Arun, i have to do some documentation work and meetings back to back, if there is no power at office, its not possible. No point in going to work!

Also working on a sunday means, i can take a leave any day in the month to compensate for that!

Avi anna, zara saiso. Keep me tentative!

Ram, thanks for the correction. Till now i never knew what exactly its called! I heard some saying plump cake, some saying plum cake! That too from the people who make it at their home!
