What no post after our meet yesterday?????

It was a nice quick meet yesterday, though i am not a huge van of vintage cars and bikes, it was wonderful to see those old machines gleaming away to glory.

Ram's Fiat and Lamby was very pleasing to the eye. And, thanks to him everyone present there got lunch coupons and we all enjoyed a well catered lunch buffet.

More than the food, everyone seemed to jump on the "Double Ka Meetha" which was silky smooth, hot and very tasty. I just can't beileve it that Nazim and Spyder even planned to drive all the way to Mehdipatnam to a store that specializes in some amazing sweets. So guys, did you get your hands on them yesterday? It was nice to catch up with rest of folks who turned up !

TIGF, we are sorry, we couldnt pay you a visit yesterday. A lunch meet there is due in course of time
Spyder, when are the pictures coming up?

Mr.Bajaj, I missed meeting you by a split second.

As usual my next question is, when and where is the next meet?

Sorry for the late reply, but saw this post of yours only yesterday...and before I could reply, my net at home conked out (you'd know how excellent it is!) to come back only this evening!
Well, I didn't get the Stanher...because I don't have one at present!

As my Standard 10 wasn't ready, 'was counting on getting my Lambretta atleast....but even that is not yet fully assembled! So was only a spectator this time!

Thanks for your kind words, avi! Yes, it sure turned out good. And was also nice to meet some of y'all for the first time- Arun, Traveloholic, hyd_traveller et al. 'had to skip the lunch and leave early because I had to drop my mom at Sec'bad station yesterday evening. Which meant had to leave home by 4pm.
Um, avi- may I point out btw, that hillram's scoot is not a Lamby but a Lambretta. The 2 are different, albeit in few aspects.
For convenience we can call the latter Lammy for short!

It is good to know that there are people who still know the subtle differences. Thanks for pointing out.

BTW, is Hillram's Lammy an Innocenti model? Or is it an API one?

My pleasure!

It's very much an Innocenti, being a '61 model. It does have most of the Innocenti fittings intact, pics. can be seen here:

BTW Venu, 'didnt meet you there that day at the show? Didn't you come down?

PS: Sorry bout the OT, guys!

Ram, I totally enjoyed the DHAA. Had to skip lunch as I had promised someone that I would have lunch with them that day. Missed out Double Ka Meetha that day

Oh Forgot the Marriot thing totally. Hope I get to leave from office early, so that I can be part of the meet too. Ram, any scope of last minute additions

Myself & Spyder did visit Halwani's at Mehdipatnam.
We gorged one Fruit Salad at the shop and packed more Kulfi, Firni, Rabdi & Fruit Salads to enjoy at home!

Spyder already blames me for his weight gain in the coming months!
