Hope you guys are aware that TGIF serves "only 2 dishes" per head for 199 from a selected menu. So its like if you plan to have a starter and dessert then you cant order a main course dish. I wish it doesn't turn out to be a Sazio kinda shocking experience.
As I am out of the city so I won't be able to join. Have a great time.

If anyone is game for sushi-sashi...LOL, there is a new japanese restuarant in town called EBISU and are located on Rd.No.1, B.Hills

They are charging Rs.100 for a Veg Combo Meal and Rs.150 for Non-Veg Combo meal.

I will also get some chance to brush up on my Japanese

Ebisu was earlier located in Cinemax Mall (same building as TGIF) on the ground floor in the food court.

They managed to serve me the worst of japanese food ever in my life.

There was nothing japanese about the food (the indian style chinese tastes much better) and they did not have sushi in the menu.

Unless someone treats me to a free meal at Ebisu or they make drastic changes to their attitude towards serving more authentic jap food, I will never think about eating there.

As long as one sticks to a combination of one of either appetizer or salad and one of main course, the food quantity is fairly good for lunch time.

You are very right is pointing out that one will go hungry if order is from soup and dessert.

The unlimited lemonade makes my day anytime.

There is a 3 course buffet as well at the TGIF. Can any one review this? I think its 399/-.

Avi bhai, with your experience you can suggest better lunch buffets.

guys, just wondering...

if someone can arrange/volunteer for a place, i can arrange for a fairly large and delicious moghlai kind of meal/lunch. Does delicious shewarmas, grilled chicken, kavabs, rumali rotis ring any bells?

It wont go above 150-200 rs.

you can get what you desire, no slavery of a menu!

Practically every restuarant has a buffet these days to pull in crowds during the slack time. Its just the matter of cuisine and budget which suits our palate and pocket

That sounds like an enticing offer. Sure, we can do something about it. Lets discuss it when we meet

Wow! Very tempting offer! I am game for this!
BTW, the items will be cooked at the venue or will they be cooked and brought to the venue?

My current pent-house terrace is available until Saturday before I shift out of Hyderabad to Nizampet!

EDIT: Stanher, are you getting the Stanher for the Vintage display at Lumbini park?
