We decided to meet today for photoshoot of my automobiles and the passion that TB showed is undisputable.
TB was sure about the shop where he bought the camera and with out giving up,with determination he googled and brought out the word Chimalgi. We called Raveendra who gave us the exact location and voila we entered to pick up the cable. It turned out to be an enlightment there by Mr.Chimalgi that the cable was after all not needed since one could transfer from Camera memory to card memory with some setting.TB was thrilled by this enlightenment and we drove off happily.
Since there was a power cut and no street lights and dusk set in,TB has a great idea.He asked me to switch on all the cabin lights, parking lights of the cars and asked a passing by motorcyclist to stop and focus his headlight on the cars. The result in the pics above, was like "Tansen Singing : Diya Jala".I was simply floored. |
Wow, what a photoshoot! Hats off to you TB (er- or BT?), especially your idea for the light on the cars...now that's innovative!
Your 1100 especially looks fab, ram! Tempting enough to be put up as a wallpaper!
BTW, on the lighter side- you actually wear trinkets??
Nice to hear that you've met Mr. Chimalgi (I presume you mean Gururaj, who has the french beard and glasses?) As I'd mentioned to you earlier, it was he who has a Super-select manual and another period booklet of a list of Fiat dealers/distributors all over the world circa 1960s. And twas also he who helped me get my SS80, a very good friend. Did he mention me to you by any chance?
You would've also noticed his (actually his late father's) WW2 BMW twin (forgot the full name) bike at the shop. That had been present at our last DHAA rally at C'mohalla too.
