It was a well attended and well organized meet. Special thanks to Mr. Bajaj (hyd_traveller) for taking up the initiative to book the venue and make sure that all the arrangements were in place.

We were in for a grand welcome at the Venue, with the venue done up for the forthcoming festive season, it was a welcome change to see the decorated Boats Club.

Hi guys,

Seeing those pics of the meet almost made me homesick. I would have been homesick if I were not having such a great time.

Way to go guys, that looks like one heck of a meet.

The AP to AP drive is going great and we are now in Tezpur, a stones throw away from Arunachal Pradesh. We are bang on schedule i.e. we reach just an hour or two after our estimated arrival time each day. Everyone is in fine fettle and spirits and raring to go. Pulsar56 & Absynthguzzler have been clicking away merrily all along the way and we have been having some absolutely amazing experiences. I think we can expect at least one great thread dedicated to a report on this drive.

It was an exciting meet at Boats Club,which was my first visit.
I reached the venue half past 8pm and Hillram Jr.spotted a orange Palio and thought his friend Mihiran inside.He was quickly disappointed when i said that Mihiran was away some 2500km from Hyderabad.I found Raj and Hyd Traveller had finished one round of Fish Fingers and Prawn Fry.
It was a cold night in the open lawns of Boats club adjoining the Hussainsagar lake overlooking the Buddha illuminated.
Soon we settled down and ordered some starters from an A4 sheet menu.Fish Fry,Veg Manchurian,Break Pakoda,Bolied Peanuts,Chicken Manhurian etc were flowing to keep our appetite away.
Soon Milecruncher and Bidisha joined followed by Nikhil and his soon-to-be Team Bhpians : Jagan and Kalyan.
While discussions were abuzz with topics ranging from MileCruncher's recuperating Bolero to old Hyderabad localities and their glory,some idli joint on Dharam Karam Rd that Hyd Traveller frequents,etc.
Soon the last order bell rang and we ordered hastily for dinner which was Chicken Biryani,Kheema Curry,Mirchi ka salan,Jeera Rice,Dal Fry and Curd Rice.
I must admit that the food was good and quite reasonably priced and served in with a tinge of delay.Milecruncher ordered Bheja Fry whcih never arrived,for the best reasons known to Boats club.
While this was happening,we heard of the TRS bandh for the next 48 hrs and I quickly did a rain check on my petrol levels in my cars.All were stocked up.
After the customery settled of the bill,we proceeded in the coldnight,concluding a good meet with friends and food.
Speical thanks to Mr.Bajaj (Hyd Traveller) for arranging everything at the venue and his friend Mr.Sagar,who was the actual patron !!!

I remembered the customary group photo, which is usually taken infront of the venue. Myself & Raj actually discussed about it as we were strolling out. We discussed about taking a group shot outside.

Aye Aye Sire, the plans are very much in place for the Kite Flying Meet. Expect a teaser in a day or two.

I'll try to make it to the next January meet. Had been quite hectic the last two months since I bought my new Fiesta 1.4 ZXi (yeahhhh). Nice pictures team.
