Nazim, i meant the actual soft drinks ( Sprite and Thumbs up), we need them chilled..right?

Alright people, it's a fine morning with a nice chill in the air with just a wee bit of sun-up. Perfect day for a drive.

See you all in a few !!!

Hey Avi and others. I really feel bad to have missed this drive---I'd confirmed my participation, but had to drop out last minute to cater to many domestic compulsions, including dropping and picking up my daughter from the 10K drive.

I'd have loved to drive, but risked the wrath of my better half-----only married guys will understand .

BTW, how was the meet, and where are the pics? Pulsar56, are you listening?

It went great I must say! Although tired now from the long drive, I do feel happy to have decided to go for this outing!

Suren too, much to our surprise, turned up eventually......in the most unusual way!

Here are some pics. from my side...

The lake, I understand its now flooded, said to have been 1/3rd of this on the last drive here:

Suren's steed was a hit with many of us- even this goat herdsman!

My own steed, on my way back....couldn't resist stopping at this spot somewhere en route to take these pics.!

I wanted to capture the setting sunrays at this angle, but couldn't exactly get it. Well, nobody's perfect!

The meet was great. I saw people at the age of 25-30 talking as if they are at 60. They speak and act as if their life is all jacked up. It was very inspiring to look at you guys soo active and with loads of enthusiasm though you people are busy with your professional and family life. Hats Off to you guys.
You people still have the hot blood running in your veins and as said by some one before i nthe same thread, You people are still in the "teen" age
It was a great experience.

My pleasure! And....your turn!

BTW, what time did the rest of you guys leave from there finally? I was looking for signs of any of you zipping past me at some point on the way back.

I was also expecting somebody because I just realised AFTER being dropped by nosfreak at the place my car was parked in Vikarabad town, that I still wasn't too familiar with the route to and fro!!

I first thought of calling up one of you and letting you know, and then reckoned you guys would be leaving a little late anyways, so took a dare and set on myself...'got a little lost in Vikarabad town initially, trying to find the right turn we went through (road past the Church etc.) and then finally got on the right track out of the town.

'tailgated a district bus for a while as it had the route marked as YGT (Yadagirigutta), as I was sure it'd help me get home faster, my place being en route to YGT anyways! But then, it was going so d@mn s-l-o-w that I found it real drab to maintain the same or less pace. So I gave up the chase and sped up ahead, relying on roadsigns, verbal directions and my memory for familiar sights along the way, inclduing Milecruncher's Uno, and finally was assured I was on track! So made it, no sweat!

And to be frank, the roads are NOT safe enough as it was in 80's to be driving around with one hand hanging out of the window and cruising at less than 40kmph when even a fully loaded truck is going faster than you!

Yeah, Rider60 turning up was a pleasant surprise and I got some secrets on how to reduce my weight too!

Noted, sir!
That comment in my last post however, was just to be on the lighter side, although I figured you could tell.

PS: what about the answer to my question: what time did y'all leave finally?

We started from the lake around 4:30 PM and then stopped for checking out the "Laura Milestone" and then for the Bobby and then for the Uno & for dinner en route.
By the time we reached home, it was after 10:30 PM!

This time I am going to sleep for sure! Have to work tomorrow!

I reached at 10.30. Was an exciting drive especially with the moronic tempo guy driving as if he didn't a towing vehicle.

We were of the opinion that the tempo guy was experienced in towing!

My company gives a damn about GHMC or party elections! LOL.
It's better to work tomorrow rather than going to work on Saturday because of a forced inconvenience + holiday!

Guys, it was a fanastic day on the drive. Kudos to all, and especially to Avi for all the logistics of food.

My little one had a good time especially seeing the vast lake. She simply loves water.

@Pulsar56: Do the honurs of posting the pictures soon. Pretty eager to see them.
