Ah, taking the bike to the other cities is a lot of trouble for me as I won't be able to get so much of free time, and even if I could, I'd rather be spending that time riding them than on the trip to BLR or kochi. Plus it never is as convenient as a service center within the city. And on a side note, JLR showroom has a service area for the above said bikes? Or it's a local arrangement by the owners?

Friends with multistradas and Bonnies you say? Do invite them for our meets when we have them then. Would love to see such beauties up close. I think I've spotted the multistrada on the Salem highway and on the way to Pollachi too. I thought it was our actor Ajith sir doing his trips, as I had heard from sources that he was in town for a shoot at that time.

And please do update is on the FNG's numbers when you get them, would be a great help, thanks!

The showroom must have some kind of an agreement i think so, with the JLR A$$. I am sure it's not a local arrangement.

I am a newbie here and I like being involved in any group activities happening in Coimbatore like meet ups or a ride. Do keep me posted if any such thing is planned or if needs to be planned.

In addition, please let me know if anyone comes across a well maintained Coimbatore registered Civic for sale as I am planning for one. Appreciating your thoughts on owning a used Civic.

I am also looking forward for a meet up and detailed discussion with someone who presently owns a Civic.

I too once owned a Civic but for a brief period of time. It is a brilliant car to drive and own. The only gross being the soft rear suspension and low ground clearance. Will definitely let you know if I come across a used Civic.

The suspension and GC are the concerns now. But then, I have gone through a couple of threads to overcome these and let’s see how far it works.

Thanks Doc. I am following this thread and let’s plan for something very soon. I will also share some pictures of the spot that we visited yesterday called Anakal near Kanjikode, Kerala. It is an awesome and scenic place for a short drive.

Do let me know if you come across a civic and as a Doctor you can also visit my clinic setup to have a look at it anytime.

And where is your clinic at? Your speciality? Nice to see petrol heads who are docs too. Not too many of us around. You should visit our place at Pollachi to when I come down.

Yeah will share the pics after a little editing works on them. KPH does sound cool to me, good thought.

BTW I am not a doctor and it’s my wife who runs a pharmacy and a multi-specialty clinic setup. I have about five doctors visiting my clinic everyday.

PM'd BHPian batterylow on friday night introducing myself. A quick chat over Whatsapp and as we both are living in the same area (5-6 kms approx) we decided to meet up on saturday. Got a call from batterylow by around 4 pm.

The rendezvous was at Bee bakery, Kalveerampalayam. Reached there within 5 mins and saw the Code6 baby waiting for my Casper. Met him and had a long chat on cars and stuff. Before we realized, it was 6 pm. Went for a quick spin in his Ford Figo and then bid farewell.

It was a quick meet but the one I will remember.

And that's how good friends are made. Yeah, was going thru the other threads and everyone seems to be planning and executing with surgical precision. Especially the Bangalore and chennai group. Let's get this's party started. Hopefully my DM exams in sept go smoothly so that everyone is happy at home; would be nice timing to convince my family and get a green signal for a special companion for my Dark passenger (AKA VW Vento).

Let's see, only time will tell. Hoping for the best..! And Batterylow reached out to me on PM, have given him my number to add in our Kph group.
