how about a meet in goa???

hey guys,
was wondering why dont we have a nice weekend long meet in goa?
it will be great...all the tbhp members are welcome.
spoke to gto the other day and thought of this...it will be good i know someone there so i can arrange a few flats for us,will be economical.
planning to have it some time in april...
suggestions are welcome and confirmations will be taken only on reciept of rs.1000/- which can be given to gto or to me.
this advance/confirmation money will be utilised for the accomodation. transportation will be self organised, i.e. people can get together and drive down, fly down or take the bus or train.
we will arrange the accomodation..rest is all upto individual requirements,.

For those who have a better half, how about getting them along too?

I say drive down! Forget the train and planes. Goa will be the perfect destination for the majority of Team-BHPians from Bombay and Bangalore : 600 kms mid-point.

Count me in for this one! Yea it'll be hot (no, make that BLOODY HOT), but you can do more that you could if it were raining. Would give me a chance to stretch the legs on my new aquisition. Not too much fun riding in the rains.

Need some details are needed so BHPians can plan things out:
- Where in Goa are we planning to shack up?
- Cost per person/night
- Considering the heat, i hope the shacks have AC's! lol
- Proposed dates?

Don't have much time, so lets get moving on this asap!

18th april is probab an off

so if u combine the 4.. ie 15(fri) to 18 (mon) .. u get sm decent time.

Yeah it will defntly b extremely hot in goa during that time... so think abt it.

Drive to goa in the rains would have been heaven.

i would love to make it to goa but i just came back last sunday

was hot already so you people are gonna get fried in april

stay at calangute beach i can give you a place where you can stay maybe book it in advance

we paid 350/- per day per room

2 minutes from the beach

well guys,
1. yes we are planning for that weekend 15th onwards
2. stay is near the baga/;calangute area.
3. two choices of apartments
non a/c around 800 a night for 4 people.
a/c around 1500 a night for 4 people.
4. a good hotel like ronnels ("good" is not a star hotel...)
ranges at around 800-1000 bucks a night for a/c for 3 people.

yep ronils is a nice place..very close to the beach, titos (for all the commercial partyers, i wouldnt be seen dead there) bharat bar (love this little place) kamaki and all the shaks for yummy food!!!!
