Organising was no big deal - I did only the rooms part. John handled the tougher food/booze accounts. Only problem was our reaching the resort after Bangy boys, which led to them taking one more room than what we had planned and which finally went unused - waste of money. Anyway stuff happens.
And pho3nix, man, you are the only one who used the meet to the hilt and lived up to the "Give time a break" tagline. Our man passed off in the loo giving us some anxious moments. Then he crashes on the bed and as soon as he wakes up next day, he starts off with Bacardi breezers, Reserva and what not. Cheers. clap:

Thanks. I was **** scared that they might stop our car and check for booze. And this is inspite of me emptying the Smirnoff into a mineral water bottle and it looking like water. :)

It was an awesome meet for sure and nice to meet the Chennai Annas as they are affectionately called. Altogether it was well organized by Biju and others as well. Patchy boy and others do post the pics. Wish to have more such meets and we witnessed the comraderie among the chennai annas in particular headers and nitrous getting on each other with headers @ his best and nitrous taking it in a sporty way :D.

Honestly, if I had not met the owner and understood the passion behind the mods, I guess I would have posted the pics in another thread ;)
From now, I think I will look at such mods with a different perspective. The Sumo belongs to the owner of TVMS, the guy mentioned in SB's post. I am sure SB will post more details.

Am back to work 'fully rejuvenated' from the 'time break' at Pondy. Was a GREAT Meet.
It was great meeting the Chennai Anna's and being with the fellow Bangy guys. Finally got to put faces to some of the handles from the Chennai Gang.
A well organized meet by SB and others. Loved every bit of it. Thanks everyone for contributing towards a wonderful time at Pondy.
Look forward to more such intercity meets and drives.

Can't agree more guys. It was a GREAT meet and we loved the evening session in which we spoke about every single topic that we can think of !
Special thanks to all the Bangalore guys to have made it and making this even more exciting.

Part-2 of the meet report :
We reach the resort, see all the KA cars, but no Bangy boys. Some were having a late lunch, while some had driven out to town.
We check into our rooms and then the Bangy guys come in - VJ_Mavrick, PatchyBoy, khan_sultan, condor etc. Before even we can settle down, the Annas place order with room service for Foster beer, which are gulped down fast.

There is a small pool in the resort which some Bangy boys/girls take a liking to. See PatchyBoy diving into the pool.
After rejuvenating with some brewed stuff, the Chennai Annas are ready to party and switch to beachwear.
nitrous and gang plus some Bangy boys have already had a funtime on the beach playing volleyball and throwing frisbee.

Meeting report part-3 :
Now we get down to actual business. A long table is arranged on the resort grounds and some 15 guys sit around it. Available on tap is Old Monk rum, Smirnoff vodka, Peter Scot whiskey, Teachers Scotch etc.
