Hope you guys decide on a venue soon and get to meet. Who's making the 'molga bajji' as nitrous so delicately names it?.

Nick, so are you back for the next meet? The regular meets are missed without you

Going by Nick's online ' presence ' time, you wont see him again for 2 weeks now.

Ranjit, am sure, you guys compensate for his lack of "online presence" time

Horsley Hills..

1. We have never been there. ( as in TBHP folks )
2. Its a very silent place ( What I hear from folks who have been there )
3. Great Roads to drive ( atleast 75% )

Ranjit dude,

Agree with all your above points. But the distance is too much for us to go there and get back within a day. It will be too tiring as I mentioned in the other thread. Most of our time would be spent driving/riding and there'd be very little time for all of us to interact.

A bit off topic: Neoranjit, you're Sathish Kumar Srinivasan's friend aren't you ? Rather used to be his superior at Slash Support ?? He's a close friend of mine from Brigade days. We went for a ride to Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary in Oct 08 (he on his new Pulsar 220 and me on my Avenger 200).

Nevermind the distance Venkat aka vsg12777. We've got the Suzuki experts who'll drive us there in no time!

So lets do the Horse Hills guys? We can leave by 8 in the morning after breakfast?

If we maintain an average of 100 kph, then we'll be there in 2 hours, spend 2 hours at the horse hills and we get back to reach Chennai by 6ish??

yeah,500 kms is pretty managable, similar to our yelagiri drive. how about doing it on a saturday though so that those who are tired can relax the next day?

He he.

I am game for a meet this weekend, but I don't think it makes sense to drive for a minimum of 8 hours* just to spend 2 hours at Horsely hills.

* : Assuming a realistic average speed of 60kmph for 500kms up-down trip. Maybe headers might pare this down to 4 hours (both ways), but then not everyone is superhuman.

P.S.: Wondering why our nitrouuuuuuus is absent on the thread. Hmm.
