There isnt much to do at Alamparai and also doesnt take much time to get there early in the morning. So creative minds were let loose.

Am okay with a half day Alamparai and lunch someplace only deal as well.

Sholinganallur to Alamparai is a 1.5 to 2 hour drive, And even if you throw in a lunch at mahabalipuram, it's still a half day affair.

A half day plan for me works perfectly, but if people want a longer drive, how about gingee - Pondy - Alamparai. The NH 66 is a hoot to drive on (get your kicks ), and you can cover three major Forts in chennai - Gingee, Alamparai and Sadras.
Sounds good. Need to have a route map then. I am personally okay.

Important question to answer. I am alone from my side.
Query included now.

Done, and it is already in the car.. Goes where ever the car goes as my daughter is looking for an open space to play with the same and hence she wants it always to be in the car.

re: Chennai Team-BHP Meets: 2017

Okay Mates!
Now as the list is almost final, lets take a quick call to finalize our tour plan too.

Request everybody to fill their handles below each option ( Again) by noon tomorrow. i.e. 6th March, just to give enough time for negotiations in any hotels/ restaurants if required.

Option 1:
ECR only: If the majority of members wants only a half day(a bit more) relaxed drive then lets go for Alamparai, in which case we can visit Alamparai and on the way back have lunch in Moonrakers, Mahabs.

Confirmed:
1. Maverick79

Option 2:
Club Alamparai,Pondy & Sadras. Have lunch at Pondy.

Confirmed:
1. Maverick79

Option 3:
NH 66 + ECR : If all are ok for a 3 fort visit we can go ahead with what greenhorn suggested. Route option which Sushil suggested looks fine to me.

Confirmed:
1. Maverick79.

Option 4:
Yelgiri alone.
Confirmed:

Request to Mods: Pls add polling feasibility for the above 4 options.

Timing remains unchanged as of now.

When: 8th March - Saturday
ETD : 6.30am from ECR - Sholingnallur Check post
ETA : 7.00pm at same point as above.(Same Day Return)

Thanks and Regards,
Maverick79

I'm in for option 1, but I may start a bit late. Sir won't wake up and be ready in time I may just coordinate with you separately over phone.

PS: PMed 101 folks. Let's hope we can increase the attendance even a wee bit!

re: Chennai Team-BHP Meets: 2017

Am ok for anything that gets me back to the city by 7PM :-). May bring son along but that is last minute confirmation.
Options 1, 2 & 3 are ok for me. Option 4 probably another time.
