The Chennai roads are pretty simple & easy to understand. Or maybe that is how I feel after being here for 25years.

Two boys now - the younger one is 8-months old. The younger one is an early bird, and the elder one can be made to wake up by a mere mention of football/horse-ride on_the_beach.

Anyway, when are you coming down to Chennai ? I passed by Pondy on 1-May on my way to Velankanni - but it being too early by your time (7AM), more so on a holiday, did not disturb you.
As always, limped into Pondy with fuelgauge at close to Empty and tanked up 48litres @ Rs6 less/litre. And then some on the way back.

Last weekend, tried to manage till Besant nagar Murugan Idli, after spending some time with family at the Tiruvenmiyur (trying to spell as correct as possible) beach.

Now eagerly waiting to meet you all.

Thanks, John. Sure we can have a treat, but it will have to be on a Mon/Tue/Wed since family is going back to Kerala this Friday after 2 months here and so from this weekend I am back to my 4-days-at_Chennai and 3-days-at-Kerala routine.

Probably others saw it too, but I read in the paper that Pondy police are enforcing the Supreme Court sun-film ruling. As Chennai police appear not to be, it's an easy thing to forget about. A trip to Pondy could end up being expensive!

Not really. I was in Pondy last weekend and had no issue with the pondy police - Infact they are friendly chaps who understand the Pondy way of life
