THE SOUTH INDIA RALLY, a round of the FMSCI SPEED INDIAN NATIONAL RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2011, at MMRT, Sriperumbudur from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday (25th and 26th June).

Super Special Stage on both days at the track at 08.00 hrs. Entry free.

HM and Mitsubishi conducted a Cocktail party at Le Meridian and invited all Cedia customers in Chennai with family. They called it Chequered Night, whatever that was supposed to mean. They said it was to 'celebrate' the success of Cedia in INRC this year.!
Started at around 7:30. Not so well organized event though. I got to meet Family of Ravi and Shriram at the event.
Rahul Kanthraj and Vivek Bhutt, Runner up in SIR showed up inside the hall, driving in the same car they drove in the Rally. Flaunted its E-note and then pulled it on the ramp for display.

We got to speak to them closer. A few so called family games and dinner followed. Overall not up to any worth writing about it here, just wanted to share the pictures.

I also got to meet the Regional manager of Mitsu India and Dealer development Manager from Mitsu Japan. Gave them few pieces of my mind on how marketing could be done in India to promote this wonderful machine and why they should bring in Lancer-2011, knowing it would fall in deaf ears. All I got from the Japanese was "Be patient! We are bringing in new SUV! by Next August!" What can I say!
The only good thing happened there is,
I gave a 2 minute interview as a Cedia customer to NDTV-Hindu News Channel.
The show is Shift-Focus and is going on air on Tuesday, 28-6-11 at 9:30 pm. They would also send me the You-tube link next few days and I will share it here.
Big Thanks to Team-bhp, because of which, Mitsu and HM Selected me for this Cedia customer feedback.
