I was going through the Pondy meet thread (link)and was reminded of the fun we had on that one. All the planning, debates etc and finally it was a blast. Anyone remember the tbhp-ian who locked himself up in the loo and refused to open up, leading to some tense moments.

While overnighters might not appeal to many people now (or will it ?), how about a drive-and-meet before we bid adieu to 2010 ? Does Sunday the 19th of Dec 2010 sound like a good date ?

Possibilities :
1. Drive to Mahabs, lunch and back.
2. Drive to Pondy and back - start early, spend the day there, head back in the evening.
3. A day-drive to Yelagiri - like the one we did before.
4. Suggest more options.

P.S.: I just proposed that date because that is the only weekend in Dec that I am in town.

Where is Petrol_Head, Headers, E_L, Nick, Neoranjit, Mr.Bean, Sathee, Bakiya.. and some more folks who I dont remember?

A 1-Day Pondy trip would be perfect! I can arrange for some nice activities around Pondy!

The new BHPians in Chennai can join in as well! Its been a long time since we had a good drive/meet!

If so, other weekends can be opted for.

@anachronix, what kind of activities do you have in mind ?

A 1-day Pondy trip would indeed be great. Especially if we can start early ang get a full day there. I am a Pondy regular (Dad used to work at Karaikkal) and a Sunday in laid-back Pondy has always been a great way to unwind. Plus which Chennai Pizzeria would serve you Pizza with barley water?

Chunnambar would be nice. For the last meet, we had planned beach-volleyball and stuff, but finally it never happened. We could do this.

@joshguy, if the meet happens, anyone can join. We even have had non-bhpians (friends of members) join our meets. So no issues there.

@D-bhpian nitrous, how about 'D'riving this meet forward so that it happens ?

So now to wake up the other seniors aka esteem_lover, headers, neoranjit, Phoenix (not sure if still on honeymoon?), bottle, nickatnite, mail4ajo, manek etc etc.

Nothing much to organise for a 1-day drive/meet. Just starting time from Chennai to be agreed upon and we should be off. Ofcourse, the venue is still open for discussion - chip in guys with suggestions.

@Mr.Bean, this would be an apt time to check out your Baleno. Unless you already have the A* by that time and decide to drive that down.
