I have been to munnar from kottayam once through the nomadic route, the strech between nerimangalam & munnar through adimali with lot of curves would be a good stretch to drive but one needs to be very careful..

I am not aware of the roads connecting to munnar from Tamilnadu...

Hi friends, sorry to jump into an exciting and animated discussion. I am newbie based out of Chennai (passive user on tbhp for a long time).

I gather there is a Chennai tbhp meet - city and overnight. If newbies are allowed I would like to join in the city meet

I was lazing & dreaming around on a typical sunday afternoon when I got a message from nitrous & a call from petrol_head(vijay) wishing me happy birthday & hinting about the possibility of a meet in the evening to watch 20-20 cricket on TV followed by some good dinner at my house. So I thought I will throw in a party on my birthday to our chennai bhpians..

So the plan was to gather at my house in Annanagar at 7 PM then get some food & drink. petrol_head, bakiya & Nitrous were the first to reach & we ventured out to get some good fried chicken from KFC along with some fresh fruit juice. John (esteem_lover) & jayanth (ph03n!x) joined in late for the meet..

The meet was fun with lot of discussions getting interesting towards the end of the meet. The surprise in today meet was that we had our guest cum D-bhpian condor from Bangalore who came along with ex670c (arka)...
Lot of discussion in this meet, some on the engine capacity, bore size, displacement, volume, pistons, performance of the cars on the circuit, suspension setup, ICE. Frankly lot of inputs especially from arka (ex670c) were too technical for me to handle..

We got to have some good spicy dosa for dinner pretty late..

At the end of meet, there was quite a bit of discussion & hands-on the rocking ICE, jayanth had on his rocket hatch, it was clean and loud, installation was done by blueraven in Bangalore...

Belated birthday wishes fella. I was advised well in adavance about the meet. Some how, I did not want to drive back late night from Anna Nagar to Velachery. ! You guys had a good time, great ! Hope to see ya all soon.

Phoenix , whats with I wont be at the meet, check with petrol_head and actually being there ? Is that really you or Photoshop lol.

When I called up the guys before reaching Chennai & even in the evening, a b'day meet was far from my mind. But turned out to be one lovely evening. Thanks, guys !
