I think you should look at Grange resort may not be the more popular but used to be a good place, had a lovely time once with my office gang of about 20 of us with the highlight being a "Bison" deciding to check in amidst us early in the morning to find out what we guys were upto. Also it would be better for the Tbhp gathering so that everything from water to old anecdotes can flow through the night.

I called up shevaroys. All rooms there are non ac. They have cottages but they are extremely expensive.
They have rooms for 975 for 2 people, and additional 2 people per room brings it up to around 1800 odd (i think including tax, and i think he said 350 per extra person). He also told me that difference between 4 guys in a room, and taking a separate room is only some 260 bucks, so for comforts sake we can take 2 rooms, but that can always be finalized later.

@xingamazon - if you hve been following the thread we have plans for a yercaud trip this month end, and an inter city meet in between sometime. Feel free to join us for both, and kindly confirm the same. Also, if you have a good suggestion for within the city venue, please mention it.

I ve told him that I will call back in a few days with a final head count. Bala did you call any other place? Sutta kambi told me he has contacts at sterling resorts, and will find out from them as well.
