| Hey Guys, it's not really fair. I did not check this thread during this long weekend and i find that a mini chennai meet has happened.  next time pl let know in advance. |

I woke up at 7.50 on Saturday morning and lay in bed for a few minutes, debating whether or not to even try and make the city meet scheduled for 8 am. I checked my phone to see a message from Thad E Ginathom, copping out of the meet. Just as I made the decision to skip the meet too, and lie in bed instead, Gansan called to ask whether I was coming for the meet. I felt bad at wanting to ditch after he had put so much effort into coordinating the meet, so I agreed to go. Would've been there earlier but I'm new to Madras and got lost on the way to Mylapore, so ended up reaching at 8.45. The guys had gone in only at 8.30, though, so I didn't miss too much food. For some reason I was expecting to see a whole bunch of wives and kids, but there was only 1 kid and no wives apart from the cars outside. Was good to meet everyone there: Gansan+1, BBlost, Nitrous, RR_Zen, Elantra_GT, Para_7k, and Mi10: thanks for having me, and hope to meet y'all at further meets/drives soon! PS Vasantha Bhavan's food was the oiliest tiffin I've ever had in my life. Healthy eating fail! Last edited by Perakath : 5th October 2009 at 16:32. | |

Just for the record, I drove for sometime the way back from Pondy and I was ultra impressed with the VGT Engine. It was a dream to drive albiet a few corners. 150s were effortless. There happy now Pras? |

Considering that our trip was purely for educational purposes, I suppose we will be mentioning nitrous quite a bit in that report then. And I suppose most of the pondy gang is still sleeping!
