Nikhil, next time take perm for getting back home late. We could have had a even more interesting discussion if you didn't have to rush back!

Siddhu, Sssshhhh !

Arrey, problem is people at home freak out if I drive back home late. They would much rather I spend the entire night out instead of driving back so late. Too many scary stories in recent months.

All the more better. Our usual hobby is to not go back home until sunrise . All you had to do is ask us not to go home early. Shyam and myself actually thought of going to Nandi after we left from Bhagini, but decided against it as we didn't have another car to give the Getz some company!

Unless there is anyway of disconnecting the odometer from the car, no way I would have gone along wiht you guys!

What I meant is, they would much rather me stay in ONE place for the night rather than DRIVE at that time of the night.

Man i should have have had less dinner. We could have gone for the subs(real mouth watering ones :P). Thinking of it even now makes me want to go towards the airport .

I think this is the best thread to ask. Me and my bro are planning to to drive to Nandi Hills early tomorrow morning. What is the best time to start to catch the misty sorroundings and a sunrise?

I am planning start at 4:00 and reach there by 5:30

What is the route? I am starting from Indira Nagar. I am just not sure where to take turns after the BIAL

I think the Nandi Hills cross is 15 kms after BIA. The sign board is too small. Go slow when you are nearing the cross.

After you cross the BIAL turn off, look for the 4th speedbreaker. Soon after the 4th speedbreaker take a left off the highway. Go to the dead end and take the left again. Then go ahead for another 3 kms and you must take a right turn. There is a small hill kind a structure made out of stone, if you miss this turn, you might land up in some village

Thanks for the info. I managed to find the signboards and found my way The ride was great. Ran into some serious fog on NH7 till the turn and the visibility was just a few feet in front. Apart from a solitary truck, the entire highway after BIAL was empty. The left turn from NH7 was also enveloped in fog till quite some distance. Should do it some other time again

Nandi hills drive is now like another CCD meet drive!

You guys should be doing Bangy-Hyd or Bangy-Chennai meets now!
