| 9th October 2009 Meet-Bhagini Restaurant-Off Jakkur As per the plan, we were supposed to be at the venue between 8 - 8:30 pm. Just reached home, and now its 12:00 midnight. Me and wifey had some shopping to do at Esteem Mall, left home a bit early. Sharp 8:15 pm i call Hari, says, "i'll be there exactly at 8:30 pm" I leave Esteem mall and start driving my Classic 1971 VW Baywindow speedo not working, i keep looking for any biker's speedo along to guage my speed(he he) all i knew was the Bus ran at 90 Kmph for some distance.Meet Hari 3 kms from the venue and follow him. 8:45 pm exactly we reach Bhagini as usual, only 3 guys ON TIME, Vasanth in his White Brand New Linea Hari in his Black Beauty Accent Myself in my BUS Bhagini Restaurant - Nice location, Nice Ambience and food was Good. 9:00 to 9:30 people start to pour in, Starting with Hrag in his Fresh from Chikbalapur OTR-still dirt and muck on the Safari(Sad photo got deleted) Followed by Brraj,Shyam,Mclaren and all others. We had few ladies this time and a bunch of naughty kids including mine. By 10:15 it was full crowd, Now let pics do the talking. Last edited by Jaggu : 10th October 2009 at 18:54. Infractions: 0/1 (10) | Most of us including me reached late as usual . Suprising part was we landed up with a huger crowd than what I had expected. Platters, food kept rolling in and there was a lot of small talk. Generally the meet was fun, but it got a lot better towards the end of the meet. Those who stayed back till the end shall agree  . It was nice meeting everyone, we must do this more often.Sorry for the bad quality of pics, my autofocus wasn't working properly. Nikhil promising Siddhu that he will find him spurious tires.  While the rest are busy eating/talking Sid is busy posing.  While Hrishi is checking out his orange blossom, Rajeev is demoing something. See how intently, everyone is watching him.lol.  Hari, raj.barcode, Varsha (sriraj's wife), Jyo (Hari's wife), brraj's kid and wife.  Right of the table from the far side: Shreyas, Shyam, Vasanth, brraj and Siddhu's hands.  Group pic. | I really enjoyed the meet! It's been too long since I met these guys! Thoroughly enjoyed the chat with these guys even though I was more of a silent spectator! It was an awesome drive back home at that time of the night with Siddu! Nice meeting Sriraj and Rajeev! I had met Rajeev at the Yelagiri meet but he forgot me. First time meeting Sriraj. Vasanth, your Linea looks fantastic! Congrats and all the best! The star of the meet(vehicle-wise) was the VW bus of Pavan. It's beautiful and totally not what I expected. I kinda expected it to be in a very rundown state thanks to Pavan's posts where he repeatedly says that there is a lot of work to be done. But it looks fantastic! Unfortunately, I did not get to spend much time or talk to some of the other guys like Shyam, Anoop, etc... Hope to geto know you guys better next time |
