Quick Meets at Bangalore

Thanks to KarthikK for his efforts to plan this meet, suggest a venue and do everything for us to ensure fun-filled dinner meet and drive.

Here is the leader -

While Nikhilb2008 uploads the excellent photos he took, I will put up just a few food pictures to give you an idea of what a great dinner we had!

The Menu card -

And we started our engines with some Kairi Panha, Jalzeera and Buttermilk. I preferred to go with Kairi Panha - made from mango - tastes yummy! It wasn't on the menu list but on special request from RS sir, the server obliged.

And some dishes at random - all photos taken by Nikhilb2008

And on the way back, it was all clear roads with few trucks and some rain to accompany. Great drive we had back to home with all our rides and horses beneath the bonnet let loose!

Thanks again for everyone who made it to the dinner meet!

Looking forward to more pictures from Asdon and Nikhilb2008 - they were in action all the time with camera while we had focused on the great food

Thanks for organizing this guys. Had a great time, I hadn't driven out of city in over a month. It was refreshing and total fun. Happy to have met some old and new (for me) tbhp folks. Special thanks to @KarthikK

Missed this trip so did a 'go it alone' tonight with the family (just came back). The drive was somewhat marred by the numerous diversions and the place certainly looked brighter in the pics you guys posted. One minor correction to the initial directions that Karthikk posted earlier, this place is exactly 15 kms to your right from the McD, CCD etc cluster while driving down from Bangalore.

I'll try and join in but looks unlikely. Where is this Tambaram restaurant though? Is it opposite the CCD where the queens supermarket used to be many years earlier?
