To Avoid the Worst Traffic Jams Keeping in mind Bangalore's Saturday evening traffic,

if we meet around 8PM instead of 7:30PM at mentioned meeting point after getting down from BETL expressway and crossing the toll booth.

If you go to phase 2, pay the toll and stop after taking a U turn, you can get onto the service lane of hosur road with zero traffic and massive space to park in peace.

You are in stonage... Have you seen Attibele toll plaza during evening and night? BETL straight ramp is nothing compared to it. And many users might be having OBU, but Phase-II exit is also a good idea, but then we again have to cross Veersandra signal after gathering.

I haven't been to Attibele in ages dude. I didn't know there's a toll gate there now.

Veerasandra junction is easy as we will join from service lane not from the main road mess. That's what I usually do when going towards that side.

Its one of the biggest choke points on extended weekends when the whole of Bangalore heads out south. You should see the queues then!

I will have to pass this one. In the last month i did that stretch maybe 20 times or more. I am sure i know all the humps, potholes and the toll booth attendants on first name basis. Have fun guys..Maybe next time

I used to feel hopeless seeing Neelamangla toll plaza on NH4 during weekends, but the time since Attibele one is up and running, I have seen queues upto 2 km from actual toll gate, that's one of the worrying point for me, it may take maximum time out of the meet. So I would suggest even 6:30 or 7Pm gathering time instead of 7:30.

So we shall meet at 7 PM instead of 7.30 PM in that case. Just to reconfirm, the meeting point is immediately after the EC toll exit booth and just after the traffic signal which comes after the exit booth. We won't want to park near the signal and cause trouble for other NH7 commuters who are stopping there.

Lets pay the exit toll on NH7, cross the signal intersection (Veerasandra??) and stop on the left after a few hundred metres.

Who so ever reaches first, after crossing the signal, look for a red punto KA51MA4871 parked, you can queue up next.

Seems like I would be slightly late to start from home due to some unfinished business. As of now, I am planning to take NICE road (Starting from BG road) and join you at the meeting point. Is that a good option or should I go to Bannerghatta circle - Attibele route?

Around 7.30pm on Saturday evening, which one is more convenient route, any idea?

In worst case scenario, if I am delayed, would simply keep driving to Asian Highway marker on the map hopefully to reach before you start dinner
