Had a hectic week so couldn't reply earlier.

Viju's RX was the apple of our eye. Looked better than any brand new showroom condition bike.

Not yet Ashish. Need some good quality and strong double sided adhesive tape to ensure it stays put. The tail light unit is securely bolted but since it is an aftermarket addition, it has a little bit of play, hence the need for the sticky tape.

Any 'quick meets' happening this weekend?? Been 2 months since we had the last one. If we want a vehicle photoshoot location, we could head to Kanva reservoir on Mysore road , with a breakfast or lunch thrown in on the way.

EDIT : just noticed that place has already been done once, the destination choice is open to debate.

Its getting a bit confusing now. Too many meet threads are running in parallel and the dates are dangerously close to each other. There was an overnight meet planned at Ooty for July 6,7 :

Now another one on the very next weekend for July 13/14 at Horseley hills and yet another one on Aug 14-18 in Goa. Not to dampen the spirits, but realistically speaking, most members will probably attend only one of the 3 meets if they are all overnight-stay-compulsive.

My suggestion would be to just plan 1 overnight mega-meet to ensure maximum participation, scrap or postpone one of the other 2 or make them day trips. Having 3 overnighters in short frequency will just split the attendee population everywhere in my opinion.

FYI: only you and me are the confirmed common participants in the overnight meet (USP, the twisty drive) planned at Ooty for July 6,7 and Tri-State Meet July 13/14.
Because the latter was declared an overnighter, I refrained from a confirmation till you came up with that smart day trip idea and I fell for it. We have only our spirit to dampen !!

I'm still unsure if I'll be able to attend all the back-to-back trips. I have one drive to Bekal next weekend, one to Dandeli in the last week of June. July 6,7 was planned for this Ooty thing and 13/14 for the Horseley hills meet.

Horseley hills is really close to B'lore, just around 150 km and 3 hours away. I found no reason to stay overnight when we can return the same day and attend to other stuff (read as eating out at unexplored restaurants) on Sunday

No idea. No one seems to be interested now, maybe the bad weather has something to do with it. The Hassan idea sounds good as a day outing, but depends on how many people join in.
