+1 to this. All hell can break loose on the track .
If people feel grips is too close (need a longer drive), there is a place near Ramanagara, right opposite Janapada Loka, for go-karting and ATV rides.

no raj, haven't been here before, but I noticed the place when I recently went to Kanva reservoir. It is on the left side when going from Bangalore.

No idea about the track, but the pictures in the gallery link are impressive. Since the place is new (just opened few months back it seems), looks like the track will also be freshly tarred and the karts will be brand new.

Advantage over Grips - In addition to karting they have ATV, so BHPians can have a taste of both off-roading action and track action

I relocated from Gurgaon to Bangalore recently. I stay in HSR Layout and visited 3M car care also once. Was unlucky enough not to find any Team BHP-ians there.
