The road till Mulbagal is really good. Its a 6 lane highway. There is a CCD near Kolar which is open 24x7.

Oh, i see , no no i was not trying to chase or race , i was trying to reach my wife's office asap, as she had an important meeting which she had to attend and she had missed her office bus.
But yes i agree i was driving fast , which i usually don't do within city limits .

I think that was because of those traffic speed radar guns, as i have seen them a couple of time on the BETL whenever i go to EC.

Hi arun_josie, its around 56 Kms from Jayanagar (I stay here). See the map below. You can check it on google maps.


I am fine with any place, any time. I stay in Jayanagar and will be passing through Koramangala to hit Old Madras road and then KR Puram.

I do not know where others stay, I can think of the below meeting points.
1. 2100 hrs @ Koramangala Inner ring road, after the Ejipura signal (the road is wide enough for us to stop and wait for others without disrupting the traffic)
2. 2140hrs @ Big bazar / RMZ building after the Baiyappanahalli metro station
3. 2200hrs @ KRPuram after the Tin Factory flyover.

Please pour in your suggestions.

My only requirement to be able to make this drive is that we leave after 2000 on saturday and are back by 0600 on Sunday. Barring that not working out, I am in. Starting from kr puram works nicely for me. Also, could someone coordinate and get everybodys phone numbers so we don't lose somebody on the way. I see that quite a few of you all know each other already, but this is for the benefit of those of us new to this

I believe we should start by around 8-9. Starting too late is a problem, because returning too late at unearthly hours also is a problem .

I suggest we meet up at around 8-9ish, and plan to get back at around 12 midnight or 1 AM.

Reaching around 9 might be a problem because that stretch has traffic most of the time till 10. So, can we catch up by 10 at that point? We can also finish our dinner at home and may be munch something in CCD.

We'll meet after the bridge as Tin factory junction will be choking with traffic even at midnight. There is enough space after the bridge just before the KR Puram BMTC bus stop. We all can assemble there.
