I'm rather in a mood for a long - weekend trip or a trek! It is been a long long time since I've trekked last - A failed attempt due to permissions in Feb in Agumbe and the last trek was in November in Khudremukh

Rajiv, this actually is at a very very very short distance. Just around 1.5 km after NICE road junction on Kanakpura road you need to take a left and you'll be there. We went there last Saturday only, thanks to google maps, satellite view. BTW, Thattekere was a better place.

I have been to that place around 10years back so dont remember exactly, but if you say then i have to look into some other alternative.

Shivanasamudram didn't have much water though. The aim was to enjoy our rides! ;-)

We just went to the view point, spent some 30 min there and returned back to B'lore. And we stopped for a Quad biking on Kanakapura Road which is the actual highlight of the day!

Actually on 2nd thought may be we also can go cycling there

Not very far but yeah, I don't like Kanakpura road traffic due to the Metro construction work.

Are you in a weight-loss spree? cycling 32kms one way and 64kms 2way.
For me no issues, If are willing to do even i can accompany you. though it will be a whole new experience for me.

I will join you two on my cycle, but that cycle will have a motor

Raj sir, are you sure it is 32 kms? I think it will be only around 10kms from BG road to Kanakapura road NICE junction.

64kms might be bit too much for me too. From the other thread I thought it's 30-35kms 2way (even that day drive also felt like that much). I'm sure I'll be dead tired by the time we will be back if it's 64kms

. Yup, trying to loose some flab and cycling helps, lost 5kgs in 2 months.

BTW, if you check this link, it seems this place will be only 10-12 kms if we take this route. Not sure how the road is after khoday's glass factory..

7am might still be better, what say? Or my favorite time i.e. evening 4/4.30pm and come back by sunset. I know the road till Anjanapura (point E on the map that I've sent, after that dunno how the road is). Till that place it's an easy ride (easy for me so should be piece of cake for a fit person).
