Quick Meets at Bangalore

Of mostly whites that turned into reds in two hours...

What was supposed to be a private Polo-Punto photo shoot, ended up as a beautiful TBHP photo shoot.

Many BHPians had asked me for photos of my White Punto with my sister’s Black Polo.
I was planning this for many days and asked my Bro-in-law if we could take to some nice place.
He had time on 25th and told we could go together.

Things that unfolded later:

BHPian Vik_0728 wanted to take pictures of his Korean beauty along with my Italian beauty and wanted to join us.
Along with him came BHPian Kimified with his beautiful damsel i20
BHPian avinashsg took delivery of a White Elephant on Ugadi since he missed catching a Cheetah. He joined the party with his 2 day old Safari EX
BHPian pumpy_raj came with his Japanese tiny model Ritz Vxi
BHpian swaroop.anand came along with his GP1.2 to give my fair lady some company
Two more inactive BHPians(Don’t know their handles) came along with their Green Safari LX and White Baleno Vxi respectively
And did I forget to mention my Porsche…

So that makes it 8 whites, a black and a green.

With so many cars we needed a big place for some nice pictures and what better than the Grasslands!!

We met up in front of PESIT on ring road at 7:00 AM and headed to this place and by 8:20 we were there.

The photo shoot went on till 10AM and we were back home by 11:30…Pictures are a better explanation of the meet

It was a wonderfull meet and the Drive was also good as it was a Sunday with very less traffic. A total of 85Kms up and down.

Thanks to all who had come and made a great Photo Shoot.

More of My snaps soon... By the time we reached out of the Grass Lands the White Cars were turned RED full of Dust.

Loved the Drive, the Destination,..just about everything.

Kimified's "RD Ready I20" Kicks up all the Dust !!

The Iravatha(White Elephant) enters.

Very nice pics Hemanth. I couldn't help but wonder whether the Ritz is the smallest 1.0 L+ hatch in the market. Felt a little bit sad as I own one, and never felt it to be so small before :(

Awesome pics Hemanth and some funny captions as well. Looked like a enjoyable meet for everyone involved. Too bad the cheeky Porsche smoked the other cars on tarmac as well as Off-road

I too faced this problem yesterday at around 9PM...Waiting for more of your pictures...
The i20 snap is just too good. nice capture.
And you've given a nice name to the Safari. hope avinashsg like it

You feel like that because I have taken the photo alongside Safari which makes it look more smaller...Actually Ritz is not small but Safari is huge!

Guys, no drives have happened since a long, long time. Anyone game for a drive this saturday or sunday (daytime drive)?

@hemanth.anand and vik0728, those are some awesome snaps and captions of your offroading expedition and photoshoot. Kudos! And exactly where are these grasslands, man? They look perfect for some auto-magazine style photoshoots. By the way, just curious to know - how much time did you owners spend washing your cars the next day??
