Yes.. We met. Ten cars all together . Came back home at 3. It was nice meeting everyone.

It was a real nice drive guys .
Thanks guys for coming for the night drive .
As planned we met @ IIMB at around 10.30 and then moved to the next meet point , nice - mysore road junction, there we had the other folks already waiting for us .
So without wasting much time we all started for the drive to Barista.
The drive was the really nice, the weather was cold and little bit of fog also made the drive special.

One funny thing also happened while we were on our way to Barista, there was a white swift VDI , occupied by a few young guys ,was driving very rough and fast.
They overtook couple of our cars @ around 140+ speed, used to slow down infront of us, and started provoking us for a race by showing hand signals , i could not believe it when i saw them doing this the first time, i was like "come on man !! grow up "

We were there to enjoy our drive and not to race or show who can drive fast , so we allowed them to do whatever they want to do and concentred on our drive .

After we reached Barista, i guess few guys didnt have proper dinner so they drove to the nearby McDonalds and had some food.

Meanwhile me, Raj ( brraj ), brandon (thedreamcatcher ) , Rohit (xryder), karthik and niranjanrvce order some cofee and had some chit chat .

And the main discussion was "what is next ride for Raj " .

Anyways once everyone came over, all kind of discussions happened starting from mod on the car to traffic rules .
By around 2.15 we decided to call it a night and started back .

The drive was nice fun, and for me it was great to meet some new BHPians. The only bad part in the drive was xryder and me hitting a cursed invisble speedbreaker somewhere before Barista, when we were at a good speed

Ouch! This was a rumble strip or just one big hump? I was carefully following Rocky's elantra because he knows these unmarked suspension killers better.

It was a flat strip, possibly part of a speed breaker that was removed.

Except for that, I think the drive was really fun. I am glad I decided to come for the run. Initially I had planned to just meetup with the guys outside IIMB and head back home as I was on my way home from work at 10pm.

I think it was a thin strip, possible remenants of a speed breaker that was removed.This was unmarked, unlike the half yellow-black strip that was atleast visible from a distance.

Yeah . It was some kind of half-removed speed breaker. That series of multiple bumps? that is somewhere near Innovative film city I guess. Those weren't very high. This nasty one was after Ramnagar town and before Barista.

Fantastic drive and meet, except that I had to sit silent for most part of the meet at Barista, due to a wound on my upper lip which was not allowing me to speak much

P.S - We should have lined up for a night time photoshoot session but forgot completely

Nice pics and it was a great drive. I think you guys hit the speed bump near the turn for KANVA DAM just before railway over-bridge.

I know which half removed bump you guys are talking about. This is infront of Karnataka Police Academy. Few of the bump pieces are removed on the right hand side and you can take your cars through them without reducing speed.
Seriously, missed the drive, still recuperating from fever.

Was indeed a great drive. But there were quite a few reckless drivers out that night. One was the Swift these guys mentioned and the other was a white Ritz. The Ritz was behind me for a while and he was trying to overtake and I kept assuming initially it was Supriyo getting desperate for some Coffee ;0. Even while he was behind me, I saw he almost got sandwiched between a bus and lorry. The same thing happened even later after he overtook me.

Anyway, lets forget about them. The trip had a decent turnout of 10 cars despite posting so late.

By the way, has anyone tried out Rasta. How good is that place? Can probably think about it for our next drive?

@ Rocky, Raj and the other Swift. You guys are fast as lightning and you got the envious HIDs to go with it. By the way, are they Philips HIDs and where did you get them from?

Was a fun drive,

Rasta - Its a good place for hang out which is near bidadi. Its famous for hookas with variety of flavours, though if you order food they take atleast 1/2hr.

Kaushik - We miss your super fast scorpio.

Niranjan - When is Tyre & RD ecu getting in to your fiesta.

@DreamCatcher - Even i am confused lets wait n watch.

Can some one post the link to the thread where a guy had changed 17 alloys and tyres in one year for his swift?
