Damn. I somehow missed that Xryder was making it to the trip. Was always keen on checking out his ride. Next time yes.

As for me, had to skip the meet this time, due to my kids birthday party being held in the afternoon. 1 st party was on saturday and then on sunday, which was primarily a gathering of a lot of our family friends and their kids and so on (All a bunch of Delhiites adn then closed the day off with a movie to watch Delhi Belly). And also had the company of my good friend and bhpian Asdon

Looks like you guys had a great drive.
Surprising that you did not see any water bodies at the base of the hill? Like this one?
Would have made a perfect location for a talk/chat session!

Its right at the base from where you start the ascent. But it is not visible due to thick trees and bushes on the side of the road.
Its just some water body and I dont know what its called!

But the location is perfect! And when I went in there, the sun had just broken through the clouds and hence place looked golden!

I showed the Lake to Amitoj but he was so engrossed in driving that he didn't noticed it. And also we were following others so others won't have noticed that we've stopped.

I'll put the pics tonight once I get back home. Was too tired yesterday even to download the photographs. No sunset pics guys, the fog was just too heavy yesterday and the Sun came out only by the time we reached Kamath for breakfast. May be next time we'll go for Sunset

But it was a great meet yesterday. Nice meeting all you guys. And I just lovved that Honda Civic, that's an awesome looking car buddy. And yeah, shouldn't forgot to mention the awesome alloys of Xryder's Swift.

when we went from Pune to Mumbai, we didn't take our car. instead we rented a Xylo. it felt kinda awkward for sometime not having the steering wheel in front of you (99% of the time i do the driving), but i got a chance to take some nice pictures

Awesome pics. Best picture in my opinion is the top view pic of all 7 cars parked in different angles

So there were 7 cars in all? I thought there were only 2 or 3 who agreed to come initially. I missed this drive (which would have been my first bhp meet)

Next time you guys go for a teambhp meet / drive I will join you for sure

It was a nice compact meet and a great drive!
I still have not had a chance to download the pics from the camera though. Will do it in the next few days for sure.

Nice drive; didn't have my ride ready; remember going there last time with our very own photography guru "Laluji" doing honors;

Camera : Canon 550D with Kit Lens (18-55). Location just at the base of the climb.
I suspect that the lake is very close to where you guys parked!

As you guys also experienced, we were hit a massive fog at the top. Hence I could not capture any sunsrise. But once in a while the sun did show up and we could capture something. Few more snaps to add.
