starting early on saturday and reaching Chennai by/before afternoon. attending wedding, reception blah blah.. will be exhausted by then. next day early morning again we've another wedding and by noon gotta head back to Bangalore.

May i propose a trip to Coorg.
We can start by friday 27th afternoon and come back by sunday .

I guess then we will have to takes leaves for friday .

Also i think Coorg is around 350 kms so if we start by late afternoon also, we should be able to reach by 22.00 hrs ( correct me if im wrong ) ,so we can spend saturday over there and start back by sunday morning reach blore by afteroon , take rest for the rest of the day and get back to work on monday :-) LOL

Whats says folks, also why im asking for a start on friday because then we can take our families also along with us and they would also be ok with it .

Coorg, now? Let the monsoon kick in a bit and then Coorg shall be fun.

For now, I was proposing Gokarna/Palolem. Wonderful night drive.

Madikeri town which is the main town in Coorg region is about 260kms from Blore. You can do this in 4.5 hours flat since the roads are good till the Madikeri town. Even if you leave at 7 in the evening you should be able to comfortably reach there by 11.30 taking the bio/dinner breaks into account.

Of course if its a big group of cars driving down and stops for photo shoots etc then you might need an hour more.

Noooooooooooo, by ND I meant Night Drive i.e. go to CCD or something at night and come back and hit the sack at home same night. So for 27th and 28th when I said ND I meant that I'll be in for night drive but won't be able to make for day time..

And yeah, Coorg is only 250-260 kms and can be easily done in 5 hours with normal sedate driving. But yes, wait for the monsoon to go to Coorg.

Guys,

Gokarna will be fun , trust me. We (Myself,Dreamcatcher, Asdon and Alterego) had a gala time there. We drove for 11 hrs with breaks.

Imagine only TBHPias & Fam at Kumta Beach (Secluded beach), it'll be amazing.

27th Night we start around 8-9PM.

Just came from Coorg, saw autocross, hockey match. It's quite hot & humid right now.
