| re: Quick mini-meet(s) in Kochi (Cochin) We had a meet last night (13 Jul 13) at mistakenguy's flat. Fantatstic it was, to say the least. All kudos to mistakenguy for hosting us 'hooligans', and I do hope that his flat owner will not chuck him out in the weeks to come  The meet was attended by the following: mistakenguy naveen.raju rajoy123 figo_mba deetjohn vaisakh.r speed.demon BigBrad EagleEye dhanushmenon EagleEye showcased his strumming skills on his guitar also to pep up the pace of the already flared up event. Fantastic job buddy. We all loved it. (Though I aint sure as to how much the others had to tolerate my singing skills.) Though the meet was primarily aimed at deciding the next drive meet, the place couldnt be finalised as yet. The dates have been finalised at 15th Aug to 18th Aug. i.e start driving on the morning of 15th August. Reach destination by evening. Stay for two days. Start driving back on 18th morning to Kochi. The tentative places under consideration are: 1) Masinagudi 2) Oops... Was it Kodai?? (I forgot . You know whom to blame!!)Fellow Bhpians, please join the drive and also please suggest alternate places for the drive. 1) It should be accessible in one day 2) It should have a good drive. (Not something where we will be testing our traffic evading skills) |

| re: Quick mini-meet(s) in Kochi (Cochin) Had a mini meet today with 4 other BHPians, naveen.raju, SpeedDemon, DeetJohn & vaisakh. Meet started quite early and lasted till the evening. I joined at the VW showroom where we had planned to take a TD of the Polo GT twins. But unfortunately, they had no GT TDI demo car and the TSI demo car met with an accident. While DeetJohn was almost ready to give them the booking amount, he heard the shocking truth that they had no blue color on GT. He just couldn't bear with that and decided not to book. Also met the new member of Team-BHP Cochin garage, the all new Ford Ecosport:    We all were very much impressed with the low NVH levels and also the build quality of the car. Expecting a detailed ownership review from naveen with some ace shots from our official photographer, vaisakh. Pics continued... En route Fort Cochin:  Spotted this Octy along with a shooting crew:             We had a nice chocolate cake & a not-so-nice-tasting cold coffee / capuccino from the cafe. SpeedDemon seemed to like its taste though. |

Hey good to know Naveen's EcoSport landed. I thought its Silver. Sad we are losing a TSI because of a color deficiency. Need to bring VW to look into this issue and bless with a Blue TSI for our next meet. | |
