Any update on upcoming meet in Delhi/NCR. Staying at Panipat, I am interested in joining.

Hello everyone.

It has been long since a TBHP Delhi meet happened. Why not to plan for another one before the COVID cases start increasing? Please start putting in suggestions regarding dates, venues, timings and more.

My suggesttions-

1. Plan on a weekend so more number of people can join in and the roads are traffic free in comparison.

2. Choose a venue which is at a centralised location with enough parking so that it is easier for everyone to reach. We can also plan a vehicle showcase.

3. Plan for the meals in advance. It would be really better if all the planning has been done beforehand regarding breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks.

4. Avoid crowded and popular areas. A lot of by-standers cause nuisance during meet ups. Just saying from personal experience.

The 29/30 April weekend is a good choice. Would request all the BHPians from Delhi NCR to suggest for dates, venues and timings.

Saw this late.

I am game for some Sunday evening drive. Driving in Delhi is a pain nowadays with so many road closures so I suggest some drive in Noida or if people agree then drive till Jewar or something like that. Even drive till Panchgaon (Jaipur highway) would be fun.

Hope I am not too late, why don't we plan a drive on DME? That will open up our engines and free the horses for a significant time! What do you guys think?

DME = Delhi Mumbai or Delhi Meerut Expressway?

Yes, seems like the meets haven't happened in a long while. From what I infer, this thread is probably not on the radar of many NCR dwellers yet. Although I'm up for a long-ish drive, I believe a shorter breakfast meet within Delhi would be more convenient for a larger attendance, if people are interested. Lot of places aren't crowded on Sunday mornings. I haven't gotten DM privileges yet but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for updates. ✌🏻

Yes, we can start with shorter rides and then slowly expand. Sundays would be preferable. Executing a meet would bring more BHPians for the next one!
