I was actually talking about the people who are running the marathon. Like yours truly!

The roads are closed off from around 03:30, albeit only Worli to CST via Pedder should be a bottleneck.

South Bombay people, please plan.

Was thinking if Daman can be considered as one of the venues. Or it has to be in MH itself? Google Maps shows 303 kms from Pune, must be 180 kms from Mumbai and of course Punekars will have to join the drive with Mumbaikars on Surat highway. I've traveled to Daman from Nashik. Little over 220 kms I think. I am assuming its a full weekend meet including one night stay.

Daman would be a great option, but I don't think many will be up for a full weekend stay plan. It's also a little bit more further from Pune than some might like, but let's wait for them to weigh in.

Jan 25th seems to be a good date as the next day is a Holiday; we can plan some good destination for a long drive.

I'm in and voted for the 18th. Would have preferred something sooner!! This will be my first meet and I'm looking forward to it.

Somehow always end up reading about them when they are done and then cursing myself for not tracking the site often enough (isn't there an email alert one can get once there is activity on the meeting threads?)

Would be keen on joining but not on Marathon weekend. Whether I run or not, there are folks I have to cheer. A long weekend does not make sense - roads will be clogged. So Feb 1 or Feb 8

Voted for 18th but any is fine with me...although I will possibly not stay for any week-end/night trip. I just came back via NH8 and think with all the truck traffic it will be boring to travel 300+ kms for a meet. I would prefer an option which isn't the usual but hey whatever the majority comes up with (likely LNL or MahaB : )
