If all agree we can delay the trip till Feb, but we want max participation, so if that is the case we can have a Mega meet in Mid-February..

I vote for the mega meet in February. We can retain the same location and resort you had already planned for next week, since climate-wise there won't be much change by next month. But are we looking at Saturday/Sunday this time or extending by a day by taking leave?

Hey Guys, had not been on this thread for a while and probably would have missed everything had I not.

Seems like February is gearing up to be a "Mega Meet Month". As of now, I think I can make it too on this overnight meet.

Considering the place, there is a small resort just off Yelahanka known as "SR VALLEY". Have stayed here and is pretty decent for the price. Whats really interesting is the road to get here which is Brilliant ghat section and this resort is bang in between some mountains, which can only mean one thing "PHOTOSHOOT" !!!

The reason I came up with this is coz if Murudeshwar is a far off place and a bit dicey for few of us to consider, this should serve the purpose of both a Memorable meet & fun filled stay.

It is about 50kms from Yelahanka.
So even a Saturday morning Drive, over-night stay & Sunday morning/afternoon return would suffice.

Vikram saar, asdon's Punto has done some 50,000 odd kms in 1.5 years. He won't be too happy with the idea of 70km 'breakfast' drive . At least 1 digit can be added somewhere, preferably on extreme right *lol*

Hahahaha I couldn't possibly agree more with you Karthik.

I guess Asdon would probably just ignore my post altogether for suggesting what should be a "Drive-way" Drive to him.

But I feel its not only about Asdon. Why do I have a feeling that there is this Red Hot Sports Abarth in town that also would love to be let loose on some NH !!!

The reason I came up with that is coz it would probably encourage more bhpians to join the meet. I am in no way suggesting or hinting that this is "The Place" to be.

Sure, lets plan for a mega meet in Feb as I had suggested earlier. If Sea is the preference, then I would like to suggest one more place, how about Kannur? Been wanting to go there since a long time
Never liked Murdeshwar for some reason, always crowded, parking woes.
Also, the last time I had been around that place in Nov last year, the NH17 stretch between Kundapur and Honnavar was unbelievably pathetic. Not sure of its present condition.
